26 y/o, living in los angeles. stopped all steroids on october 13, 2013. i've been a heavy user of medium to high potency steroid creams. these were applied mostly to my face, neck, chest, and arms. in addition to the creams, i have received over 15 kenalog IM injections and over 12 rounds of prednisone tablets cumulatively over the years.
Bless you, you've done so well to reach 3 months, keep going and stay strong. I only managed 1 week and I was hospitalised and I've now been put on a short dose of orals and some cyclosporine which I'm devastated about but I couldnt carry on the way I was. So just know that you're braver than most and don't let it get you down. I think the emotional side of things is even worse than the physical if thats possible. Sending love Sarah x
